Здравствуйте. Кто-нибудь просматривал какую рекламу крутят на этом сайте? Я понимаю, что сайту нужны деньги, я даже был-бы рад если-бы появилась возможность сделать пожертвование проекту.. но я не хочу получать националистическую/нацистскую пропаганду, когда просто хочу оправить открытки.

Отредактируйте профиль и удалите *весь* текст из графы "адрес" (address). Важно удалить всё, не оставлять даже пробела, также важно не писать там что-то вроде "не присылайте мне открытки". Если ваш адрес не заполнен, ваш профиль деактивируется и не будет выдаваться.

Админы где-то тут есть. Но я не помню сейчас где профиль. Но у нас тут не очень большое сообщество, можно просто почитать профили, которые появляются в новостной ленте, возможно наткнётесь. Из какой страны открытка?

На сколько я знаю, они забросили сайт почти полностью. Видно, что что-то они делают изредка, например пару месяцев назад были сжаты все загруженные изображения на этом сайте и также где-то год назад перешли на HTTPS с HTTP. Но до сих пор нет возможности убрать профили людей, которые забыли свой пароль, и эти профили выпадают всем пользователям хотя-бы один раз... и шансов, что они зарегистрируют нет.

Is there a way to change my email address for my account? Or a way to contact website administration? I'm having problems getting into my email address as I believe it may be hacked and it is connected to my Intpostage account. I don't want to start over with a new Intpostage account either, as I've built up a good reputation on here.

Всем привет, а кто-нибудь ещё получает ошибки 500 при загрузке изображений. У меня они постоянно возникают, и я не могу ничего загрузить уже дня 4.

Я нашёл решение на твой вопрос, Володя: Сейчас можешь загрузить фотографии на сайт только в маленьком размере, это ответ.

Me too. Since the day before yesterday i see the same problem. :-(
From 20 trying i can't enter 19 times, only ones.
And i can't read my messeges.
And from 20 trying i can't load a photo of postcard 19 times, only ones.
And from 30 trying i can't register a postcard 29 times, only ones. :-(

Also i am getting some weird errors on some (but not all) images of postcards refusing to load. I think there maybe some sort of server problem. Hopefully there'll not be anything terribly horrible that will break the site (i have lived through 2 of the sites of postcrossing that i really liked shutting down due to server errors).

Hello. As i have been able to see, at this time there is no way to delete a picture that has been uploaded to a postcard page.

I was lucky that i have only once uploaded an image of a different postcard than i have sent. I got very upset as the result of that, and have actually sent the postcard that was uploaded as well, so that the person will receive two postcards with the same number now... but my pedantic nature is satisfied.

Yeah, but It would be also a good idea to add a delete function ... but who knows who is behind this site? Weeks ago I sent an email to the admin - but got no answer of course. There are also shown a lot of old, non active profiles again and again - really boring and annoying sometimes. Aside from this I really like it to be here ...

I like the idea that the receiver cannot (to spite the sender) remove the image. I have had such a thing happen to me on an official site, where a user who had lots of "don't send me this" lists has deleted my image... and then closed her account. So that now i cannot see the card that was sent. Maybe a good approach would be to allow deletion within a day of upload or something like that. This could allow somebody to fix an error, but would not allow somebody to 'spite-delete'.
