Essential questions are: @SVETLANA - questions over questions: Why has Putin dismantled all of Russia´s nascent democratic institutions? Are your elections free or fair? Why Putin´s party - United Russia - always wins? Why get oppositionists always get harrased or killed? Why the media have been curbed? Why does freedom of speech and asssembly exsist anymore? Why are draconian punishments meted out for the slightest of criticisms of Putin and the regime? Why does Russia glorify war and violence? Why do you celbrate the past? Why do you need a military parade on may 9th? Stalin abolished this parade in 1947 and Putin restored it in the 90s? Can´t you see, that he is using this parade as a legitimation of his power? Where is Russia´s attractive presence????
