Belarus is situated in the centre of Europe and borders on 5 countries: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. The country occupies the area of 207,600 sq. km. Its population is 9,503,800 people. The country has no seashore, yet Belarus is a significant trade and transport link between Europe and CIS countries. Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus, is located in the centre of the country.
Religion
The most common religion in Belarus is Christianity. Belarusian Christians practice Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism, Greek Catholicism (Uniate Church), and Protestantism. Among other religions, the most popular are Judaism and Islam.
Culture
There are annual festivals held in Belarus, which introduce different waves and styles of musical arts: Belarusian Musical Autumn, Minsk Spring, Zolotoy Shlyager, Muzy Nesvizha Festival. "Slavyanskiy bazar in Vitebsk" International Art Festival has become a symbol of the Belarusian festival movement. Popular variety performers from different countries of the World take part in the Festival.
The most famous theatre is the National Academic Big Opera & Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. There are grand theatre festivals held in Belarus, which include Panorama in Minsk and Belaya Vezha in Brest.
The most famous Belarusian writers and poets are Simeon Polotskiy, Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Maksim Bogdanovich, Vasil Bykov, Vladimir Korotkevich.

Через 3 месяца до сих пор не дошла ни одна из открыток. Что происходит???!!!

Добрый день. Я заказал несколько открыток, думал, что помогу проекту немного. Но увы я вижу, что у меня нет возможности загрузить изображения заказаной открытки. Будут-ли они загружены продавцом?

A l'époque de l'existance de la République Vénitienne c'était tout à fait normal de croiser quelqu'un masqué dans la rue par un jour ordinaire. Les masques ont été portés souvent et partout. Un rendez-vous romantique, une maladie, un crime - tout pouvait servir de prétexte pour en mettre un. C'est à cause de nombreux crimes commis par les personnes masquées que le port de masque en dehors du période du carnaval a été vite interdit. Cette mesure a été prise peu avant le déclin de la République Vénitienne.
"Et ça vient à l'opéra, nombreux et masqué, en "haria" en slovène, afin de ne pas être mutuellement reconnu parmi les habitués des opéras, puisqu'il y a beaucoup qui viennent avec leurs épouses ainsi qu'il y a des voyageurs étrangers accompagnés de démoiselles, ainsi les hommes et les femmes mettent leurs masques et des habits étranges pour passer incognitos. Ainsi, lors des carnavals, ils déambules tous masqués, les monsieurs et les dames, ils vont là où ils veulent sans être réprimandés - personne ne reconnaît personne."
