Hello to everybody, I am originally from France but have lived in China for years, am a now retired history and geography teacher, with many interests including collecting postcards, correspondence, history, animals, nature and quite a lot of others.

As for postcards, I mostly like ILLUSTRATIONS of all animals even rats, but with a special preference for cats!
And I also collect tourist cards showing the main sights of a city or a country, UNESCO sites, aerial views, scenic places in mountains or seaside, railway stations, universities, religious architecture and public buildings, statues in the public space. Please do not hide the card's legend with stamps or stickers and if it is not clear where the card scene is, please write it, especially the name of the city.

Please NO illustrations other than of animals, I also do not care for paintings, Mickey Mouse or Harry Potter, movie stars, cute whatever.. I am always trying to send the types of cards that one prefers, please do the same!

Что касается открыток, то мне больше всего нравятся ИЛЛЮСТРАЦИИ всех животных, даже крыс, но особое предпочтение отдаю кошкам!
А еще я собираю туристические карточки с указанием основных достопримечательностей города или страны, объектов ЮНЕСКО, видов с высоты птичьего полета, живописных мест в горах или на побережье, железнодорожных вокзалов, университетов, религиозной архитектуры и общественных зданий, статуй в общественных местах. Пожалуйста, не скрывайте легенду карты штампами или наклейками, и если неясно, где находится сцена карты, пожалуйста, напишите ее, особенно название города.

Пожалуйста, никаких иллюстраций, кроме животных, меня также не интересуют картины, Микки Маус или Гарри Поттер, кинозвезды, что угодно милое...

I came to this site to swap postcards and also make friends, I do think it is not the place for fighting political wars, there are other places more appropriate for that, and I wish everybody would keep the atmosphere here friendly, in spite of obvious provocations.....
Thanks to all those who have tried to keep the site civilized and friendship-oriented... We are all human beings, with our good and bad sides...
